Baby Room Progress

Well, folks, we're 5 weeks away from the estimated arrival date of Baby Senn! Which means that this kiddo needs a place to call his or her own and we're working our tails off trying to make something nice and comfy for the bub.

The design has changed up a bit since discovering some killer bright orange, yellow and gray crib bedding that we just couldn't pass up. For some reason, both of us really like the idea of the bright splashes of color all over the room against the calm gray walls. Here's a look at what we're going to try to pull off in the next couple of weeks.


And here's a sneak peak and how we're doing so far. Walls painted, check. Furniture built, check. Rug on floor, check. Curtains hung, check.

That's just a quick look at the rug and curtains, and below is a look back into the apartment.


We're still waiting for that sunshine-y bedding to arrive at Casa Senn so we can suit up the crib! As you can see from the photo below, the room is still acting as a bit of a storage space, but my goal for my pre-baby maternity leave is to implement the system of "a place for everything, and everything in its place, "an absolute necessity in a little home like ours.

It's kind of coming together, but there are still a few things we need to take care of to feel like Baby Senn's room is complete. Keep your fingers crossed that the little guy or gal will stay cozy in my belly until we get everything all ready for the arrival!
