Who would have thunk it - October 20th, 2008. Our first anniversary. To celebrate, we headed to New York. It couldn't have been better. Great weather. Great food. And some great friends to share it with. We stayed for a few nights with our friends Kim and Charlie at their apartment in the Lower East Side. On Saturday night, we joined a big group at an odd little restaurant called Sammy's Roumanian Steak House. The whole New York gang turned up and made it a loud and late evening.
We spent the next few days just enjoying the weather and the city, bumming around different neighborhoods and enjoying the restaurants.
Kimberly, in the West Village. It looks like she fits right in. We had a great time spending a few days away from the office and meeting up with old friends. Perfect way to celebrate our anniversary - with a lot of the old crew who helped us celebrate the wedding in the first place. We didn't take too many pictures, because whether it's a big move or just another long weekend, we know we'll be back.
