Sheahan-Adler Fest

Portland, Oregon. Everyone says it rains a lot. Maybe that's true. But for three days in late May, it was sunny skies and 70 degrees. After a week of working in Cincinnati, Kimberly flew straight to Portland (and me from San Francisco) for Molly and Aaron's wedding, two friends we worked with in New York, and later London.
Portland proved to be the perfect medium-sized city, full of great restaurants, bars, parks, and coffee shops. Above is the famous Stumptown Coffee Roasters, who have made a name for themselves all over the West Coast (and beginning to invade the East Coast as well).
But the real reason we were there was to celebrate Molly and Aaron's wedding in a beautiful old hotel called The Governor. It was a great, funny and quirky service followed by an elegant, funny and quirky reception, just like the bride and groom themselves.
One of the things that made the wedding great was the friends who traveled to be there. Above: Molly (the bride), Kimberly, and Kim and Charlie.
Leave it to Kimberly to outshine the bride. I told her not to, but she can't help it.
Our friends Pierre and Charlie, who both live in New York.
Christine, Erik, and Cristin. Erik and Cristin live in L.A. Christine's wedding is the next on our docket; July in NY.
The blondies: Kim, Kimberly, and Jamie. Great to get the band back together. Between the good weather, great food in Portland, and everyone who made the trip, it couldn't have been a better 3-day weekend. We even squeezed in a lunch with my Aunt Marilynn, who lives in Portland, to top it all off.
